   Abstract

Humoral response to recombinant MPT-51 and GlcB was determined using ELISA. IgM against MPT-51 and IgG against GlcB were higher among TB patients than controls individuals. Combining MPT-51 and GlcB assays, a 90.8% specificity and 75.5% sensitivity was observed. MPT-51 and GlcB were recognized by the humoral response of Brazilian TB patients.
