A method for estimating a normal range from a set of immunologic
measurements on control subjects when there may be more than one
observation per subject is described. The method is nonparametric, makes
efficient use of all observations, and is very simple to apply. It is
illustrated on a set of 152 CD38 measurements from 58 healthy men.
